Often referred to as the "five-minute face lift," the NuFace device has become a cult favourite thanks to online reviews applauding its speedy results.
It uses a low-level microcurrent to energise facial muscles, (first used for people with paralysed facial muscles) boosting the production of elastin and collagen, which gives the face a "lifted" appearance.
But how does it actually work...
What is a micro current?
Microcurrent is a low-level current that mimics the body’s natural current and can provide both instant Anti-aging. The microcurrent works sub-sensory, hence the treatment is soothing and most people feel nothing at all.
Microcurrents have been used since the 80s and were originally discovered after use on patients with sagging facial muscles (known as Bell’s Palsy.)
