Video conferencing platform Zoom has suffered outages from 9am this morning.
After reported video and audio interruptions, Twitter was innundated with reports that the network was down and that users couldn't login to meetings or log themselves into the platform.
According to the website DownDetector the problems started in the UK early Sunday morning. Zoom acknowledged they were having issues in a tweet this afternoon:
Zoom's popularity during lockdown can not be overstated, millions use the site to host meetings with co-workers and connect with friends and family.
At the end of April the platform reported a 50 per cent increase in users in a three-week period and revealed they had hit over 300 million daily "meeting participants."
