Meet the vampire facial’s little sister - Growth Factor Induced Therapy

We all remember the viral photo of Kim Kardashian with blood all over her face after the infamous vampire facial?! Well, meet its more sophisticated little sister - Growth Factor Induced Therapy.

The growth factor induced therapy is a procedure that triggers skin rejuvenation through the injection of active peptides, growth factors and proteins into the skin. The procedure is a more sophisticated version of the Vampire Facial, but instead of taking a blood sample and spinning it to remove the plasma which is then injected back into the skin, the growth factor induced therapy has the peptides produced in a lab by a patented technology. This allows the growth factors and proteins to be more efficient, than taking the sample from the patients own blood.

The proteins create a response to reduce the appearance of ageing, and gives the results of more resilient, brighter and plump skin. It can reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, scars and acne.

The Procedure - Growth Factor Induced Therapy

First, a numbing cream is applied for around 20 minutes, as the treatment involves needles, the numbing cream helps with the discomfort.

The growth factors are then extracted out of a glass vial with a needle.

The therapist then sections the face, applying the growth factor serum, followed by using the needle pen to let it reach the deeper layers of skin - the ‘dermis’. A micro needling pen is used as it is more targeted than a roller, and does not tear the skin upon the rolling movement leaving the skin.

After the whole face has been needled, the leftover growth factors are applied to the skin and massaged in.

A sheet mask is then applied to help with the redness, followed by some LED light therapy which triggers rejuvenation.

After the procedure

My skin is of course red, but instantly feels tighter and clean. No makeup of heavy products are to be applied after, just a calming gel I was given to use for the next day or so.

The redness had gone down a great deal once I got home, and the following day was completely gone. What was left was remarkable.

As a sufferer of rosacea on my cheek bones, I had come to accept there was no miracle product that can cure it. I have tried many expensive creams and serums but nothing seemed to help, until I underwent the growth factor induced therapy.

The results were mind-blowing. The dark redness I had on my cheekbones ceased to exist, the texture was smooth and hydrated, compared to rough and uncomfortable prior. My overall skin texture was so clear, smooth and hydrated. It felt tighter and plump over my jaw bone and cheeks. I previously had some small under-skin bumps that disappeared overnight, as well as some on my cheeks which were gone.

Cristina, my beauty clinicion took the time to explain that when something is going wrong in the body, it reflects in our skin. Skin is the biggest organ we have and we must look after it as it protects us from so much. With that in mind, we must take the time to look after it with the right products and treatments. I cannot ignore the price tag of the treatment, but thinking about how much I have spent on products over the years, I would have saved so much if I went toBelleCell first.

I will be back for this treatment on a regular basis. It works, the science and research behind it is phenomenal.
