Skinfluencer Laser Facelift Review: I tried A Non-Surgical facelift

In a never-ending 'beauty tech vanity quest' and my personal refusal to age with grace, I embarked on a journey for a “Non-Surgical Laser Facelift”.

Why, you ask? Firstly, out of sheer curiosity, and secondly, because I’m 33, and this is the age when wrinkles decide to make a grand appearance.

This groundbreaking treatment merges two diverse technologies, offering a non-invasive alternative to traditional facelifts. The first component employs ultrasound technology, precisely stimulating the SMAS (superficial muscular aponeurotic system), the musculature area manipulated during facial surgery. This process lifts and tightens sagging skin while magically erasing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Then comes the second part of the protocol, featuring cutting-edge laser therapies designed to minimize the appearance of those tell-tale signs of aging such as pigment issues, fine lines, and enlarged pores.

Appointment 1: Skin Assesment

At my first appointment, Ridah, my skilled technician, conducted a comprehensive skin assessment, setting the stage for the transformation that was about to unfold. My sun-damaged skin and wrinkles stared back at me, and I confess, it was mildly depressing.

Appointment 2: The “Facelift”

My journey began with the application of numbing cream, a reassuring promise of comfort in anticipation of the procedure, preparing me for the intensity of the upcoming "facelift."

The facelift, utilising the revolutionary Ultraformer III, was nothing short of remarkable. I won’t sugarcoat it – it’s definitely not pain-free.

However, in the pursuit of youthful radiance, a little discomfort seemed like a small price to pay. The session continued, with more rounds of the facelift, each moment bringing me closer to the glow I'd been yearning for.

As the Ultraformer III diligently worked its magic, stimulating collagen production deep within my skin, I was informed that the full results wouldn't be immediately apparent, and take around 6 weeks for full effects to be visible.

The Results:

After a couple of weeks I have been consistently getting comments like, “you look so young” so I think it’s safe to say it works, although you won’t get the instant transformation of an actual face lift. I’d still say its worth investing in, if you can afford it.

How Does A Non-surgical Facelift Actually Work:

A Non-Surgical facelift uses an Ultraformer III.

The micro focused ultrasound energy is precisely directed into the dermis, creating energy points in specific areas that heat up to temperatures ranging between 65 to 70 degrees Celsius. Within this range, the tissue experiences controlled damage, stimulating fibroplasia or the migration of new connective tissue. This “controlled wound” triggers the body’s natural healing response, leading to tissue remodeling. Consequently, new collagen fibers form in a tighter manner, resulting in firmer, brighter, and more elastic skin.

The process of building new and elastic collagen occurs gradually over time. Patients typically notice significant improvements between four to twelve weeks after the treatment, with continuous enhancement observed over nine months.

Patience is my new virtue as I eagerly await the unveiling of my revitalized self. The gradual transformation was set in motion, and I knew that in a few weeks, I would witness the true magnificence of this non-surgical marvel.

The procedure’s ability to address a spectrum of concerns, from sagging skin to stubborn wrinkles, demonstrates its versatility and effectiveness. While the journey to a youthful appearance isn’t entirely pain-free, the results are undoubtedly worth the temporary discomfort.

As I eagerly await the full manifestation of my facelift, I can’t help but feel excited about the radiant future that awaits me, all thanks to the magic woven by ultrasound.
